Teens

Welcome to St. Bridget Youth Ministries 2025!

For the upcoming school year we will have four primary branches of Youth Ministry.

  1. Youth Group – One Sunday every month all 6th-12th graders are invited to join us for inspiration, activities, prayer, games, and friendship. On the docket for this year are our annual Pizza Bake-off and Corn Maze, as well as works of mercy and rafting on the Shenandoah. Sundays, monthly, 1:00-2:30pm (usually) – lunch provided. Signup below.
  2. Youth Band – To provide music for our Youth Group and at Youth Masses throughout the year, we are putting together a band of teen musicians who will practice together once a month on ‘off’ weeks of Youth Group. Sundays, Monthly, 1:00-2:30 – lunch provided.
  3. Via: High School Small Group – Each Sunday, while younger kids are in Religious Education classes, High Schoolers are invited to grab a cup of coffee (or cocoa) and dig deeply into faith through prayer, scripture-study, and discussion. Together we’ll also be planning and attending a retreat and dedicating our lives to the service of God and his church. Sundays, weekly, 10:30-11:45. For more info contact Rebekah Smith using the button below.
  4. Confirmation Preparations – In the Diocese of Arlington students typically celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation around 9th grade. Preparing students for Confirmation is one of our most important youth ministries. In addition to Religious Education classes, all students who have requested Confirmation are assigned an adult mentor. For the two years of preparation students meet with their mentor monthly. For more information on the process, visit the Confirmation page.
